ENVELIT: Envelopes of Literature offers new packages of poetry to be mailed each February, April, June, August, October, and December. The envelopes will be in the mail sometime around the 15th. You have until the end of the 1st (midnight Eastern USA time) of a shipment month to subscribe.

NEW Review of the Blood Pudding Press poetry chapbook, Cutting Eyes from Ghosts!

"Den Bleyker's ghosts, in this collection of poetry, are beings that cease to exist as individuals in the human sense of the term, but are still in process of transitioning to the realm of the immaterial. And that transition is rocky: ghosts have a tendency to revisit places in the world they once knew. In Den Bleyker's view, the most intimate place a ghost knew before it crossed over was the body it once inhabited. That body, like any human body, is subject to decay, disintegration, and destruction."

NEW ANNOUNCEMENT of THREE NEW Blood Pudding Press poetry chapbooks forthcoming in 2017!

This was a really difficult decision! I don't know how small press editors that get hundreds of submissions can manage to narrow it down to a few within a month or two, because I sure couldn't. For me, it was tough to narrow down my original submissions of less than 50 to 8 that I wanted to see the entire manuscripts of, and then it was even more challenging to decide between those 8.

I think all 8 of them deserve to be published, and I hope the ones I haven't chosen to publish through my Blood Pudding will find their homes soon.

I had meant to choose 1 or 2 to publish, but instead I chose 3, and those 3 are:

The NEW Blood Pudding Press poetry chapbook is almost ready for AWP 2017

Getting semi-close to the final stages of designing the initial first round of the new Blood Pudding Press poetry chapbook, "Cutting Eyes from Ghosts" by Ariana D. Den Bleyker, to take to AWP in less than a week (AND to give Ariana D. Den Bleyker her author copies).

Although Blood Pudding Press will not have a table at this year's AWP, Blood Pudding Press editor and poet Juliet Cook will be there - with some copies of the new chapbook, a few copies of other Blood Pudding Press chapbooks, and a few copies of some of her own chapbooks/books (although since I won't have a table, if you see me, you might need to let me know what chapbooks you might be interested in).

Juliet Cook will also be reading a few poems (along with lots of other writers reading poetry and fiction) at the Menacing Hedge Reading, the evening of Thursday February 9 from 6-10 PM at Johnny Pistolas.
